Nick is joined by Nic (previously of Bitchy Shitshow and Vegan Warrior Princesses Attack, now doing the new show Pynk Spots) to discuss this claim and break down the US election result and a lack of focus on class and economic inequality from the Democrats.

This episode features the talk ‘Transgender Awareness and The Law’ by Cassandra Giudice from Transgender Awareness Australia. This talk was recorded at the 2016 Institute for Critical Animal Studies (ICAS Oceania) conference – you can hear all of the talks from this conference here and you can also hear a recap of this conference on episode 152.

We’re also joined by Lara Drew and Dan Kidby from Veganarchy who discuss the upcoming 2017 ICAS Oceania conference, which will be in Melbourne from the 15th-16th of July. We also discuss how pick up artists contribute to a damaging, sexist culture. We go through Katie’s experiences with male harassment and assault, Australian Immigration Minister Scott Morrison kicks Julien Blanc out of the country while at the same time introducing horrible laws for asylum seekers regarding reporting sexual assault, sexism in the Left, the viral video showing ‘What it’s like to walk around New York as a woman’, pornography, Daisy Coleman’s experiences with victim blaming, musician Conor Oberst files a lawsuit against someone who made sexual assault allegations against him (this lawsuit has since been dropped after the allegation was withdrawn), and the Angry Hippies podcast episode on male aggression.
