This episode features the panel discussion ‘Anarchist Perspectives on Rojava, Kurdistan’. The speakers are:

  • Alasdair Hynd, a PhD student of revolutionary movements in the Middle East, specialising in the Arab Spring and the Kurdish struggle.
  • Zerebar Karimi, a Kurdish-Australian trade union organiser based in Adelaide, local and overseas agitator for a stateless society in Rojava.
  • David K (facilitating), Melbourne-based anarchist, author of ‘Anarchism in Istanbul’ and ‘Yabanci Capulling – an Australian anarchist in Gezi Riots’.

There’s an interview with Haydn Pat from Leeds Homeless Partnership and Leeds Tent City on how to address homelessness in Leeds and beyond. This interview was featured on a Facebook video by Christopher Ellis, which has over 14K views!

Naomi discusses her art piece (below) and challenging whether classic feminist texts are actually feminist.
